IRAST is an international non-profit organization founded in December 2008 to promote research communications and cooperation in both academia and industry for various disciplines of science and technology, especially computer science, information technology and related areas, with emphasis on countries in which research activities are presently increasing. IRAST members come from a diversified background, including professors, researchers, graduate students from universities and research institutions; practitioners, e.g., engineers and product developers from companies; and officers and administrators from governmental organizations. IRAST encourages innovations and global collaborations in its targeted areas. IRAST proudly offers excellent conferences, symposiums and workshops to its members and audience to foster effective exchange and networking in the community. Furthermore, IRAST publishes books, journals and proceedings to extend the reach of knowledge among members and to improve the effectiveness of this premier organization.
